Student Food Review: Green Eggs & Ham (Dr. Seuss Week Edition!)
By Andrea Alvarez Today, the 4th-grade class worked with Ms. Jada to cook our own Green Eggs, Ham, (and Turkey,) and it was pretty good. The green eggs were really good, and the food coloring didn’t change the taste at all. Sometimes food dye can make things taste weird, but this had the perfect amount, so the flavor stayed just right. The eggs even had a little sweetness, which surprised me. Reaching for the Stars at Fayetteville State University
H.O.K.E. Academy takes a field trip to Fayetteville State University's Planetarium. Students were able to view the solar system and learn about the stars. Students, parents, and staff attended the field trip on Friday, February 20. At FSU's Planetarium, students learned about the phases of the moon, the Solar System, constellations, and the lifespans of stars.
